Dogs need special protection from the harmful elements of extreme weather. ALL of our doghouses are specially insulated, with finished interiors to prevent overheating (heat stroke) and freezing. You can be confident that your pet will be comfortable, secure and will have all of the comforts of home right within his own space. The Thermal-Ply Radiant Barrier is designed within the interiors of our Western Red Cedar Dog Houses to give added protection from either humid or frigid weather conditions. Thermal-Ply insulation uses ultra-modern technology to block out nearly ALL of the summer hot sun inside the doghouse. Also prevents heat loss through the ceiling and roof up to 70% in the chilly months of winter. The insulation is a key element in the design of our pet houses and will ultimately provide longevity, contentment and happiness of your beloved family friend.

NOTE: Thermal-Ply Insulation is built in amongst the walls, ceiling and beneath the floor of the Western Red Cedar dog house. The ceiling and sidewall insulation is covered with plywood with a nice finished touch, just like your own house. Our largest 2500 BTU Combo Air Conditioning / Heating system are available for ANY dog house, new or existing. Recommendation: The use of pet house insulation in conjunction with the PetCool AC/Heater Unit will accomplish improved energy efficiency for the dog house.
